Salomon packvest review

Definitely ultra-running gear is evolving and adjusting to the needs of high demanding race runners. Hydration systems are not an exception and Salomon seems to have done a good job with it’s line of packvests. Joe English, Head Coach of American Endurance Sports Coaching, has a good review on the XA PRO 15, the top line packvest from Salomon designed for long-distance endurance racers.

Sadly the rather brilliant Salomon xa pro 15 packvest appears to have been discontinued…or at least no-one stocks them anymore!! Very frustrating as they are – or apparentlly were – the absolute business for ultra-running!!

Sorry to hear that. I haven’t used one so I can’t confirm if it’s that great, but given the amount of visitors that get to this post by googling “Salomon packvest”, I bet everyone is crazy looking for one!

I was going to buy one o these and ended up going with the Nathan HPL 020. After 4 runs, I’m very happy with it.

Got something to say?
