Keeping away from blisters
Good post from Chris Russell on lubrication and the war on blisters. Based on personal experience, he covers the different strategies he has followed to keep his hot spots save. Starting with the classic Vaseline, several running-oriented products – Aquafor, Body Glide – and even Band-Aids and derivative.
And, speaking of lubrication, The Gear Junkie is reviewing Friction Zone. This is a lube product from Brave Soldier to be applied to any place that rubs and chafes during your long runs, which, in TheGearJunkie’s opinion, gives good results though it only lasts around three hours.
