Xtenex, a new lacing system
Though several lacing systems have been lately put into the market – North Face’s boa system or Salomon’s quick-fit – the ordinary shoelace is still the king out there. Will Xtenex change this? The system is simply a long piece of rubber with knots to adjust the tension of the lace at each part of the shoe independently. But remember, the simplest ideas are often the best. We’ll see. Meanwhile, I’ll stick with my Salomon and it’s quickfit system, which has proved unbeatable for me up to today.
