A compilation of shoes & gear reviews from the trail running world:
Zensah Recovery Compression Leg Sleeves: aimed at marathon and endurance runners, these sleeves from Zensah are engineered to minimize the recovery time from injuries. The benefits and features include:
– Alternating groove compression to increase muscle recovery and circulation
– Longitude ribbing for deep calf support
– Chevron ribbing or inverted “V” pattern to reduce shin splint injury
– Anti-bacterial and therm0-regulating fabric
SOLE Heat-moldable Footbeds: a review on the Dean Karnazes Signature-Edition of the foot-beds from SOLE. The way they fit is to warm them up 3-4 minutes in a toaster oven, pop them into the shoes and stay still for about a minute. Voila! Ready for the trail!
Montrail Streaks: February is the month chosen by Montrail to release the Streaks, their new trail model, but we already have a review from a runner that had the privilege to try these on in August. And he seems quite satisfied with the results.
