Gear is fine but won’t replace skill or good sense

We are gear junkies

Interesting article about the irrational need of buying (expensive) gear and how everything (specially outdoor sports/activities) is becoming gear-centered, sometimes replacing good judgment and lack of skills. Funny how he, after questioning compulsive-buying attitude, kind of realizes won’t be able to influence much on the gear-junkie crowd and ends the article with a “Now go buy some more gear”.
