Primal Quest Starts Today

After some controversy on the decision by Primal Quest’s Management Team of allowing the use of GPS in the competition, the course was revealed yesterday and the 60 participating teams kicked off the event today. What’s the Primal Quest? From their site:
Primal Quest Montana is an expedition-level adventure race in which endurance athletes from around the world will compete with one another and against 500+ mile wilderness course. During the 10-day, non-stop event coed teams of four will travel through a series of checkpoints alternating between the following disciplines: mountain biking, trail running/trekking, orienteering, paddling, riverboarding, negotiating fixed-ropes, and free climbing.
