Glenn Rogers - DART-nuun team - Takes US Rogaine Championships

Glenn Rogers together with Matt Hayes, members of the DART-nuun adventure team, took the victory on the 2008 US Rogaine Championships held in Allegany State Park, Buffalo, NY on June 14th. The team started the race at 11:00AM – two hours after being handed maps and had a pre-race briefing – and raced through the rainy forest to their final victory with the only help of a map and compass. In the sport of rogaining, teams are allowed to travel in any order, to any of 60 controls which are worth various point values. The team that returns within 24 hours with the most points wins the race.
