Team Nike, First to Cross the Finish Line at PQ2008

After covering 548 miles in less than 5 1/2 and averaging 13,000 feet of ascent per 24 hours, Team Nike ACG/Gore-Tex was victorious (again) at this year’s Primal Quest. They took a three-hour lead on the second day and never looked back. Merrell/Zanfel Adventure took second but with no chance of victory, as they finished 26 hours behind the winning team. As of Monday morning, 36 teams were still on course while 16 had withdrawn or been disqualified on one of the toughest adventure races in the world.
