Ultramarathon Man - In Theaters on July 31st

Ultramarathon Man - 50 Marathons, 50 States, 50 Days – will open in selected US theaters on July 31st (here to find a complete list of theaters and to buy tickets). Directed by JB Benna, this documentary narrates Dean Karnazes’ epic challenge of running 50 marathons in all 50 states in 50 consecutive days in 2006. Not much to add that we all don’t already know. We’ve seen here sneak peeks of the documentary before (see related posts below) and Scott Dunlap has been lucky to get his hands on a preview copy and has posted his thoughts on the film.

[Update 18/07/08]: Dean has written a book about his 50 marathons challenge, 50/50: Secrets I Learned Running 50 Marathons in 50 Days, which will be available in August 2008.
