can you suggest me what ASIC shoes to buy to do trail competition like ‘le grandraid/la diagonale des fous’ at Reunion island and at the same time competition like the Marathon/semi-Marathon or cross-country.
I haven’t used any ASICS trail shoes (actually, any ASICS shoes) so I’d suggest you make sure you check out several of their models before your final decision. If you’re running Le Grand Raid Reunion, I’d say you go for rugged, aggressive all-terrain shoes. You’ll find lava moon-like patches where you will punish them hard and so something like the GEL-Trail Attack might be what you need. Though they might be “too much” for a regular cross-country half marathon, they will last much more than GEL-Enduro, for example.
