Video – Western States 100 Documentary 1/6
I’m not sure when this was initially aired, but ‘A race for the soul’ is an excellent documentary of the Western States 100 ultramarathon in its 2001 edition. This PBS special is an Emmy-nominated documentary produced by PBS affiliate KVIE features ultrarunning legends like Gordon Aisnleigh, Tim Twietmeyer, Dean Karnazes or Scott Jurek, and follows the racers through the entire course. This is part one of six. Parts 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
