Trans Slovenia Ultra Run – Winter Edition

After successful ultra marathon Trans Slovenia in the summer we decided to make a winter edition following Slovenias short diagonal from Rate?e to Obrežje. Approximately 220 kilometres will be divided into 4 stages – start being in Rate?e on thursday, February 11, 2010, at 8:00 AM.

The gap between both ultra marathons is exactly half of a year. We hope that all the attendees of the original Trans Slovenia have had enough rest to be able to deal with this Winter Edition and that there are lots of new enthusiasts over the ultra marathon experience.

Stage course is visible from maps and GPS data. There will be directional arrows on every crossroad. Only permitted means of progress are walking and running. The organiser will make unannounced checks on all entrants during the marathon and all runners breaking the rules will be disqualified.

Prizes: All participants receive T-shirt and a a practical prize, marathon finishers also receive certificate and a Finisher T-shirt at the finish line.

Categories: only one category (male and female).

Entrance fees:

* 200€ for applications received before 27.01.2010
* 250€ for applications received between 28.01.2010 and 07.02.2010
* 80€ for applications received before 27.01.2010 if the entrant is organizing their own overnight sleeping and transportation to the start and from the finish line.
* 100€ for applications received between 28.01.2010 and 07.02.2010 if the entrant is organizing their own overnight sleeping and transportation to the start and from the finish line.

Applications are no longer possible after 07.02.2010.

Entrance fee contains:

* pasta party and accommodation before the start on February 10, 2010
* dinner and accommodation on the finish of every stage except for the last stage
* transport from Ljubljana (or Jože Pu?nik airport) to start on February 10, 2010
* transport of equipment from start to control stations and to the finish of every stage
* transport from Obrežje to Ljubljana (or Jože Pu?nik airport)

Fee refund because of injury or any other reason:

* cancellation before 10.01.2010 – 90% refund
* cancellation before 01.02.2010 – 50% refund
* cancellation after 02.02.2010 – no refund vra?a
