The Badwater Ultramarathon is produced by AdventureCORPS, Inc. and its Race Director since the fall of 1999 has been Chris Kostman. At the 2009 race, in honor of Chris’ ten years as the race director, a short video tribute was created by Keith Kostman (Chris’s brother and the Badwater webcast director) with help and footage provided by race staffer and legendary filmmaker Dan Dominy of Edge of the Map Productions. This video was shown at the 2009 pre-race meeting in Furnace Creek, Death Valley, much to Chris’ surprise and appreciation.
